Who we are?

EBZ consists of nine independent cultural and educational organisations in eight different countries: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland. The scope and possibilities of cooperation within EBZ are virtually limitless. Seeking dialogue and by working together horizons can be broadened and good ideas as well as initiatives between people and nations can be disseminated.

By organising and promoting travel and study visits abroad for seminars and workshops, the EBZ help to create a greater understanding between people in Europe without borders. They are located in regions of particular cultural interest, which are noted also for the compelling beauty of their landscapes. Firmly established in their countries, they act as “mediator” which offer creative opportunities for encountering the social and cultural fabric of the host country and for people of different nationalities to meet and communicate with one another.
