Who we are?

The Community Education Facilitators Association is a sustainable collective voice to influence policy, share and develop good practice while providing support to its members.

 

What we do?

  • To be a representative voice for Community Education amongst the policy makers
  • To produce position papers/ policies relating to Community Education
  • To develop models of best practice in Community Education
  • To share best practice in Community Education
  • To promote the professional development of Community Education Facilitators

EAEA brings together
120 organisations from 43 countries.

EAEA is a European NGO whose purpose is to link and represent European organisations directly involved in adult learning. Originally known as the European Bureau of Adult Education, EAEA was founded in 1953 by representatives from a number of European countries.

EAEA promotes adult learning and access to and participation in non-formal adult education for all, particularly for groups currently under-represented.
