Serving his third term (of a maximum of three terms) on the EAEA Board, he has considerable experience in representing EAEA and actively engaging in policy-making processes at the national and European levels.
About George A. Koulaouzides:
George A. Koulaouzides is an Assistant Professor of Adult Education at the Hellenic Open University and Adjunct Professor at the Democritus University of Thrace, specialising in biographical learning and transformative adult learning and education. Representing EAEA’s member Hellenic Adult Education Association (HAEA), he is committed to advancing ALE in Europe and globally by drawing on his large professional network of academics and key experts in ALE and bringing in the perspective of countries and regions with disadvantaged financial and structural situations in ALE provision.
EAEA’s Presidium now consists of EAEA’s President Uwe Gartenschlaeger (DE) and the three Vice-Presidents Lauri Tuomi (FI), Dearbháil Lawless (EI), and George Koulaouzides (GR).
