Christoph Jost from DVV International re-elected as European representative in UNESCO CCNGO/ED 2030

Christoph Jost, Director of DVV International, has been elected for the second term as the European representative of the UNESCO CCNGO/ED 2030 Coordination Group.

EAEA is very pleased to announce that Christoph Jost, Director of our German member organisation DVV International, has been re-elected to represent the European region on the UNESCO CCNGO/ED 2030 Coordination Group. Christoph Jost was nominated by EAEA to represent European adult learning and education on the group and served his first term on the Coordination Group from 2017 to 2021.

The Collective Consultation of NGOs on Education 2030 (CCNGO/ED 2030) is UNESCO’s main mechanism for dialogue, reflection and partnerships with NGOs within the Education For All movement. It aims to give civil society a voice in the implementation process of the SDGs in education and lifelong learning. The group also regularly publishes policy statements and reports on highly topical issues, such as the Futures of Education initiative, but also education during the COVID 19 pandemic.

We warmly congratulate Christoph Jost on his re-election and look forward to working with the UNESCO CCNGO in the years to come!
