Inclusive Path

The INCLUSIVE-PATH project aims to enhance the transition of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) to post-secondary education (PSE)/Adult Learning & Education (ALE) through capacity building of educators and staff in Secondary Education (SE) and PSE, and empowerment of families and their children with IDDs. INCLUSIVE-PATH strives to create more inclusive and supportive environments for individuals with IDDs, facilitating their successful transition to PSE and beyond.

Project objectives

  • Capacity building targeting educators and staff in both SE and PSE/ALE, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to support students with IDDs effectively in the transition planning and implementation, including the creation of handbooks, workshops, and collaborative events to foster inclusive practices.
  • Developing a 3D interactive digital game, “Pathways Explorers,” to provide key information, and engage families and their children with IDDs in meaningful discussions about transition pathways.
  • Ensure the project’s long-term impact through the dissemination of results,
