EAEA provides training, cooperation opportunities and events. EAEA also awards excellence and cooperation in adult education with the EAEA Grundtvig Award. EAEA dissemination services offer organisations the chance to get European-wide visibility.
Training Programmes
EAEA dedicates itself to empowering professionals in the field of adult learning by offering a comprehensive range of in-service training programs and study visits. Additionally, we provide tailor-made activities to enhance your understanding of key issues in adult learning across Europe.
The topics we cover include policy and advocacy, the transformative role of adult learning in digital and green transitions, and more.
Grundtvig Award
Every year, EAEA looks for adult education projects from Europe and beyond, that demonstrate innovation and excellence in adult learning and education.
The award calls attention to initiatives that realise new and creative ideas, establish new partnerships, and develop new methodologies. It also supports a modern understanding of adult education. In 2025, the theme of the Award is Flexible Learning Pathways in Adult Learning.
Adult learning and education study visits in Brussels
EAEA is located in Brussels, the heart of European decision-making. We have excellent connections with the EU institutions and civil society here, and can organise study visits for members and non-members.
We can organise 2-3 day study visits on democracy and ALE, advocacy, sustainability, digitalisation and more, depending on your groups’ needs.
