Who we are?

The DEAE eV is an institution dedicated to the field of adult education within the Evangelical Church. It is committed to the public mission of the Gospel and to the participation of the Church in the whole of education.

It bundles the competence of adult education and continuing education in the Evangelical Church in Germany at the federal level and performs its tasks in various public contexts as well as in cooperation and competition with other organizations.

It is therefore primarily the education policy umbrella and professional association of the Protestant adult education in Germany.

What we do?

Collaboration in committees for topics as family, religion and theology, culture, advanced training, politics and seniority* work in projects* internal work in the associations (organizational work, e.g. study groups)* hold consultations to current topics und meetings* journalistic activities * give lectures
