Who we are?

We, Lithuanian Association of Adult Education, in cooperation with Lithuanian and foreign adult educators and institutions, are calling get together individuals and representatives of various organizations for the purpose to promote an approach of lifelong learning within the society and the development of opportunities for continuing education.

What we do?

• adult learning methods and working with adult audiences skills;
• Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), leadership training, strategic development NGOs (NGOs help develop strategies);
• adult civic skills;
• developing adult social initiatives resolution capability.

These activities are realized by the following forms:

• seminars and conferences;
• internships abroad;
• advice;
• international projects;
• information gathering and dissemination;
• periodical “Self-education” publishing;
• Search for contacts in adult education and support.

Best practices

• Inspiring Guide for Learn to Learn – an on-line L2L competence self-assessment tool in five languages (English, Estonian, German, Lithuanian and Spanish). It allows adult learners to evaluate their L2L abilities and provides recommendations for development of learning abilities. The instrument is designed for self-development of adult learners, but it can be used also by teachers and trainers to encourage learners to develop their learning effectiveness.

  Inspiring Guide for Learn to Learn is the result of the Erasmus+ project of Strategic Partnerships for adult education program (2016-1-LT01-KA204-023137).
