Who we are

The Spa & Wellness Association of Macedonia (SWAM) it’s a regional organization was founded in 2020 by business owners and professionals working in the Spa, Wellness and Fitness industry. We promote and protect spa, wellness and fitness education for adults, good business practices, communication, networking and collaboration.

What we do

• Identify needs for education and create programs to fill the gaps;
• Events, Training, Qualifications and On-line Course for professional masseurs, spa therapists, fitness instructors, spa managers
• Build confidence in spa, wellness and fitness workers;
• Organise and participate in world events and competitions.

Our best practices

• Project in cooperation with the local municipality for obtaining professional qualifications for young unemployed persons up to 26 years of age,
• Development of a protocol for the re-opening of spa wellness and fitness facilities during COVID-19
• Collaborate and promote to local and international companies for our students to gain professional internships with well-known employers.
