About the event

Who really benefits when adult learning meets emerging technologies?

This policy breakfast closes All Digital’s 2026 thematic cycle, Digital Wellbeing for a Competitive Europe, and brings the findings of the Erasmus+ ETHLAE project into the policy discussion.

Policymakers, adult education organisations, civil society representatives and practitioners will explore who benefits from emerging technologies in adult learning, and how technology can support more inclusive learning opportunities. The discussion will highlight the role of holistic literacy in helping adults use technology safely and confidently, and consider the implications for future European policies.

The event will open with a keynote by MAKS, drawing on experience in adult learning in Brussels. This will be followed by a panel discussion bringing together perspectives from EU institutions, civil society and adult education, an open Q&A session, and a closing interview.

Participants will also have the opportunity to connect and exchange with other stakeholders over breakfast.
