:
Online Educational-Café Europe

Looking at other European countries is particularly important in times of physical risk area borders,
measures and corona statistics. Beyond news reporting and fixation on the number of infections,
VHS Hessen and EBZ invite colleagues from the European educational landscape to an online
conference meeting to talk about:

  • What is the current educational work on site like?
  • What challenges or opportunities does the pandemic offer?
  • Where is Europe heading to in adult education?

In addition to dealing individually with the current situation and its significance for educational
work, there will be a focus on European cooperation:

  • What does digitalization mean for European encounters?
  • How important is structural funding in Europe for sustainable educational work?
  • What role do transnational cooperations and projects play when dealing with a pandemic?
  • Which projects are taking place and how?

This cross-national online conference with subsequent meet-up gives the chance to have
exchange and contact with colleagues from other countries.

When: Wednesday May 5, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
