Final conference of the Alternative Ways project

Then #AlternativeWays is especially for you!

In Alternative Ways Erasmus+ KA2 project, six European organisations, including CVO Cervogo and GO! education of the Flemish Community; developed didactic work forms for adult education in the field of language acquisition and/or citizenship competences, offering alternatives to formal didactic work forms. Creative activities, sample lessons, a manual and background information are brought together in a digital toolkit aimed at increasing learning pleasure, stimulating learners and focusing on communication skills.

The conference is free (lunch included), and the working language is English.

When completing the registration, participants will indicate their preference for Session 1 + alternative (if first choice is full) and the same for Session 2.
Contents 1 -6
● Short presentation AW (incl. the design and development process of the Erasmus+ project and Erasmus+ in general)
● Panel discussion (on the tools, the self-assessment, the case studies, effect on the learning of the target group, findings of teachers/trainers, implementation
● Workshops round 1: choice of 4 break-out sessions

○ break-out 1: experience some tools (related to acquaintance, environment, future) plus (self-)assessment
○ break-out 2: experience some tools (related to critical thinking, do it together) plus (self-)assessment
○ break-out 3: Case studies: insights & findings + tips on professionalisation and implementation in formal education
○ break-out 4: Case-studies: insights & findings + tips on professionalisation and implementation in non-formal education

● Lunch break
● Workshops round 2: choice of same 4 break-out sessions as in round 1
● Closure of the day: wrap up, comments / Q&A participants, mentimeter evaluation
