Education 2030 & Adult Learning: Global Perspectives and Local Communities – Bridges or Gaps? Agendas, praxis and research
The ESREA network Between Global and Local: Adult Learning and Communities (BGL-ALC) and EAEA member, Adult Education Institution Dante, together invite you to their 10th conference titled Education 2030 & Adult Learning: Global Perspectives and Local Communities – Bridges or Gaps? Agendas, praxis and research, which will be held in Opatija, Croatia between June 7, 2018 and June 10, 2018. The conference will examine the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and its goal for inclusive and equitable quality education at all levels that emphasizes the vital and beneficial role of learning and education in communities and societies.
Keynote speakers at the conference include Dr Katarina Popović, who is an associate professor at the department of Andragogy, faculty of Philosophy for the University of Belgrade, a researcher at the Institute for Pedagogy and Andragogy at the same faculty, the Secretary General of ICAE (International Council for Adult Education), and president of the Serbian Adult Education Society; and Dr António Fragoso, who holds a PhD in Pedagogy, is an associate professor at the University of Algarve, Portugal, was ESREA’s steering committtee member, and is currently part of the editorial committee of the European Journal for Research on the Education and Learning of Adults (RELA).
