Who we are
Dan Voiculescu Foundation for Romania’s Development is a non-governmental organization, founded in 1990, which, through its programs, seeks to develop human capital by discovering, enhancing and promoting intelligence and excellence. The purpose of this organization is to contribute to the development of the country’s human capital by supporting talented children and young people from various fields of activity.
Through exceptional educational activities such as programs to support and promote performance, national competitions, interactive performances and cultural or educational events or volunteer events, the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for Romania’s Development supports alternative education of young people in Romania.
The purpose of these activities is to support and promote valuable young people and those with high IQs, to improve their knowledge and skills, to encourage them to want to self-improve and to make the most of their individual talent and potential.
What we do
We support Excellence – Our organization has supports, through scholarships, sponsorships and promotions, a number of extraordinary young people from various fields of activity.
We develop Intelligence – today many of the children who have taken free courses at us are students or graduates of some of the most prestigious universities in Romania or the world.
Promote innovation – we give Romanian inventors and researchers the support they need to continue their research.
