DIVERSITY: Including Migrants through Organisational Development and Programme Planning in Adult Education

The aim of DIVERSITY is to accompany the EU adult education systems in the mentality shift from focusing on migrants as distinct target groups and preparing them for integration into the society around them, towards including migrants into the providers’ regular programs as an equal target group to actively and directly foster diversity and inclusion in adult education and in society.

Objectives of the project: 

  • Extends and develops competences of adult education personnel.
  • Improves and extends the supply of high quality adult education opportunities tailored to the needs of low-skilled adults.
  • Supports social inclusion of adult education.

  • Local: adult education providers (managers and program planners) and participants/learners (migrants + non-migrants).
  • Regional: adult education providers, adult education umbrella organisations, policy makers.
  • National: adult education umbrella organisations, policy makers.
  • European: adult education umbrella organisations, policy makers.
