Webinar Empowering Educators: Transitioning to Effective Online Instruction

Empowering educators webinar

Join us for our webinar helping educators to move from classroom to screen
🗓️ Tuesday, 3 June
🕜 9:00–10:00 CET
👉 Register: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/empowering_educators

The webinar is about the challenges that educators who are used to face-to-face classroom teachings face when they start teaching online. This challenge was felt by most teachers in the world five years ago, and while certain things have improved since the Covid days, the step of moving from a classroom to a screen is not easy. In this one-hour session, two experts will discuss these challenges with the Hub participants, and explain what works and what does not work based on their experiences.

You’ll learn:
– Practical techniques for virtual classrooms
– Solutions for common online teaching challenges
– Insights from educators who have successfully transitioned

Speakers

  • Richard Powers, Learning Designer and digital education expert at the University of Stuttgart. He regularly teaches longer and shorter courses for teachers who want to learn more about online teaching. Has won the eTwinning for future teachers – European award for initial teacher education (information here).
  • Lieselot Declercq, founder of d-teach online, with which she went through the first round of the Hub Accelerator Programme. Also founder of ICONS International Community of Online Schools, about which she recently posted on the Hub.
