Fostering Active Engagement

Explore the LEVERS pedagogy of climate and environmental justice, a comprehensive approach to addressing the urgent challenges of climate change and environmental sustainability.

We will use the methods of systemic design and in small attainable chunks learn how to present the topic in a simpler way, engaging the learners and creating a change.

The program consists of four interactive online workshops, each offering valuable insights and practical examples that will empower participants to take meaningful climate action. The workshops will be facilitated by experts in the field and will utilize case studies to demonstrate real-world applications of the LEVERS pedagogy. Registrations are still open!

The interactive online sessions will be held on four consecutive Wednesdays, providing participants with the flexibility to engage in the learning experience:

  • 5th of February 2025, between 13:00 and 14:30 CET: “Meaningful Climate Action” activity + 7 insights
  • 19th of February 2025, between 13:00 and 14:00 CET: Continuation of the 7 insights
  • 5th of March 2025, starting at 13:00 CET: “Whole Setting Approach” to climate action
  • 19th of March 2025, starting at 13:00 CET: Introduction to Systems Thinking and Design Tools

Additionally, an in-person session is scheduled to take place in Brussels from 13th to 15th of May 2025, providing an opportunity for in-depth collaboration and networking among participants. For those who actively participate in all online workshops, we will cover their travel costs to join us in Brussels for the in-person session, subject to certain conditions.

It is important to note that preference for travel cost coverage will be given to EAEA members, and participants are advised not to book their tickets until they receive a final confirmation from our team.
