Who we are
Local Youth Action Council of Peja is an NGO based in Peja, Kosovo, committed to promoting active citizenship, non-formal education, community participation, and lifelong learning. The organisation works to empower local communities through inclusive initiatives, partnerships,
and advocacy, while contributing to social development and democratic engagement at the local level.
What we do
The Local Youth Action Council of Peja develops and implements initiatives in the fields of adult learning and education (ALE), youth empowerment, civic participation, capacity-building, cultural heritage promotion, and community development. Our work includes vocational training programmes, workshops, awareness-raising campaigns, and intercultural activities, as well as local and international cooperation projects. Through these actions, we equip individuals with practical skills, promote lifelong learning, and encourage young people and adults to become active contributors to their communities.

- Building Information Modeling (BIM) Training Programme
A two-month professional training programme aimed at strengthening participants’ technical skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), combining advanced theoretical knowledge with practical application in real construction projects. Link. - Lifelong Learning Week 2025 (LLL Week)
KVRL Peja contributed to the national organisation of Lifelong Learning Week in cooperation with DVV International and ALE networks, promoting adult education, inclusion, and access to diverse learning opportunities across multiple cities in Kosovo. An ongoing professional training focused on 3D building modeling and digital construction tools, equipping participants with practical skills in ArchiCAD and modern BIM methodologies. Link. - Certified Training Programme in Accounting and Taxation (IAP-M)
A certified training programme implemented in cooperation with professional institutions and universities, providing participants with practical knowledge in financial accounting, taxation, and software applications, enhancing their employability in the labour market. Link. - Community Wellbeing and Active Ageing Initiative (Yoga Programme)
A community-based activity promoting health, wellbeing, and lifelong learning through inclusive yoga sessions, encouraging participation across different age groups and supporting active ageing. Link.

EAEA is a European NGO whose purpose is to link and represent European organisations directly involved in adult learning. Originally known as the European Bureau of Adult Education, EAEA was founded in 1953 by representatives from a number of European countries.
EAEA promotes adult learning and access to and participation in non-formal adult education for all, particularly for groups currently under-represented.
