DESCRIPTION:One of the REGALE project objectives is to gather 50 best practices from cities/regions in Europe that  have managed to successfully incorporate a learning culture in their respective societies. SUMMARY:EAEA Younger Staff Training 2022
DESCRIPTION:Organised annually since 2011\, the training brings together young professionals in adult education to discuss the diversity of policy and practice in Europe. Throughout five days of interactive workshops and study visits\, the participants will reflect on key issues in adult education\, such as advocacy\, fitting their national or local context into the larger European picture. \nIn 2022\, the Younger Staff Training in Brussels will be preceded by online input sessions. SUMMARY:Study visit: Community education
DESCRIPTION:Community education is adult learning which takes place in local community settings across  Ireland. It is learner-centred and responds to the needs of the local community. Community  education has a track record of effectively engaging with people who wish to return to  education but may not have the confidence or opportunity to do so in a formal setting. DESCRIPTION:Continuing the successful practice started last year the European Basic Skills Network will organise its annual conference in a hybrid form. Our transnational workshop “No Greening without Adult Learning and Education” brings in perspectives from all over the world on issues such as climate justice and learning to deal with the effects of climate change as well as empowering people to take action for a just green transition.
